RRCA CERTIFIED COACHPROOF RUNNING CO.FROM CYCLING TO COACHING
A love for the miles.
And the people behind them.
What began as cross-training for cycling became a love of running and its community. Surrounded by people who inspired him, Timothy immersed himself in the mechanics and philosophy of the sport.
His teaching background shaped how he approaches coaching: effort matters, but so do structure and balance. Easy runs, speed work, long runs, nutrition, and recovery all need to work together.
COACHING STYLE
More than a name on a training sheet.
Timothy builds each plan around the individual—their goals, needs, and life beyond running. He adjusts as life happens, with an emphasis on balance, recovery, and listening to the body.
Progress doesn’t have to mean one punishing workout after another. His approach is to grow steadily, stay healthy, and build habits that support long-term success.
FAVORITE WORKOUTSTrack workouts and hill repeats: challenging sessions that help runners discover what they’re capable of.
FAVORITE NYC RUNSCentral Park, Queensboro Bridge, Astoria Park, and the Williamsburg waterfront.
FAVORITE RACENYC Marathon
LANGUAGEEnglish—and, in his words, “acts of service.”

WHAT MAKES IT WORTH IT
Progress beyond the finish line.
Timothy’s proudest moments come when athletes tell him coaching has changed their lives for the better. Becoming a stronger runner matters; bringing lasting, positive value to someone’s life matters even more.
He loves watching athletes surprise themselves during a track session or hill repeat—working through a mental barrier and leaving with new confidence in their own ability.
RUNNING ETHOS
